  • k = female

For living situation

  • b = resident
  • mt = temporarily resident
  • f = absent

For family roles

  • hf = man of the house

  • hu = housewife
  • s = son
  • d = daughter
  • tj = servant
  • fl = lodger
  • el = solitary lodger
  • b = visitor

For civil status

  • ug = unmarried
  • g = married
